Things I Don't 'Get' About Guys

It's March...I am a bad, bad blogger. I returned home from San Francisco in December and got caught up in the whirlwind of the busy holidays and catching up with friends. I'm also guilty of spending too much time with my mistress blog yammering on about wine and food pairings.

Forgive me, you must understand that wine comes in very handy when dealing with what's starting to become the endless frustrations of a single girl on the market.

This next one adds to the long list of things that continually have me shaking my head about men. The rundown below will provide you with all of the details, good luck.

College reunion last May, check.
Prolonged make out session with college friend who is also single (not an easy find at our age let's be honest), check.
Meet up just as I learn I'm temporarily relocating to the Bay Area, check.
Tells me he's conveniently found a girlfriend in the last couple of weeks he's now dating, oh sure, check.

Clearly at this point we're just friends. I hear from him sporadically while on the west coast, I learn of the breakup with above mentioned girl, we make plans to meet up when I'm home.

We do, stay out much too late for a work night and end the night with another prolonged make out session. Holidays come and go, we get together again in January.

Guy telling me about a date he had while on our "date", check.

Guy continually texting asking when we're headed out again while yet confirming he has a new girlfriend, check.

Frustrated and confused Tricia, check.
